About

We’re a bunch of New Yorker’s looking to move better and get fitter while enjoying the Central Park outdoors and motivating group camaraderie.

Old School Fitness NYC grew from the desire to create a community of people who believe in the power of self improvement through disciplined physical training.

Our training involves minimal equipment, focusing on enhancing body control, strength, and skill through gymnastic/bodyweight training, weight lifting, and metabolic conditioning.

This group is open to everyone. The training program is fully scalable to all levels of ability. Participation is free of cost.

Classes are currently being held Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 6:30am and Saturdays at 11am.

Exact location in Central Park changes.

The Coach:

Michael Rapoza, CPT. American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM ) and Crossfit certified Fitness Coach. CPR certified. Helping people move better and get fitter for the past seven years.

  3. Hi i saw a posting on CL…http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/act/1563406450.html…and Im unsure about what to do next is this a meet up group and is there some fee..? I am looking to get back into shape since Ill be going back to military basic training this summer and this seems like something that could actually work. =] Any further info would be greatly appreciated.

      Appreciate the contact. We’re currently meeting in Central Park at the West 85 st. entrance Tue and Thurs at 6 30am and Saturdays at 11am. Your welcome to come out and join us. Just give me your email so I can keep you updated.
